| If you’re looking for a cake that is something a little different and very special then you’ve now found it! A bespoke cake can be created personally for you for any occasion, be it your wedding, anniversary, birthday or any other special event that you are celebrating. Corporate commissions are also taken and I will work with you to design your perfect cake. My love for Sugarcraft started while I was living in the Caribbean, and the most popular of all my cakes is my very own special recipe Caribbean Fruit Cake. Traditional British cakes are usually made several months in advance and are then left to mature, however my cakes are very different as I select fruits and then marinade them in rum and wine for several months, then strain them to use in my cakes. The resulting cake is very rich and moist, and it’s ready to eat immediately without any need for further maturing. If you don’t want a fruit cake, then there is a choice of different cakes including an indulgent chocolate cake. Not only are the actual cakes unique, but my style of decoration is too! Cake decorating started as my hobby, then became a paying hobby and then a business. As my business has expanded, then so has my opportunity to travel and I have worked in America and the Caribbean as well as Britain. I have learnt skills in all these countries, so I’m able to offer you many techniques and styles of decorating that you may not see offered by British cake decorators – so I really can offer you something a little bit different!
